ROB: I have spent a little over eight years living aboard the Cosmos Mariner. I purchased her on July 10, 2007. I had previously owned several small powerboats but this was sail, much larger than anything that I had owned, and it was to be my home!
As a result I have met some of the most interesting people from all walks of life, and regions. I have friends literally all over the world.
I have seen spectacular sights and thought, “it doesn’t get any better than this”. And then there were the times out at sea when the conditions were so bad that I had to remind myself that the circumstances were not life threatening (just very uncomfortable).
In short, I owe my life to this sailboat.
DEB: has lived aboard since May of 2013. She quit her job and set off for what was supposed to be a vacation in the Bahamas. After a lot of kicking and screaming I decided to let her stay 🙂
Turned out to be one of my better decisions.
Deb has since logged several thousand miles throughout Florida, the Bahamas and Caribbean.
